This one is different: longer, further, and with a lot more to see. You stay seven nights at the five-star Furama Resort Da Nang, right on My Khe Beach, and play five four-hour sessions on the resort's own courts with PCI-accredited coach Kelley Keyes and an assistant coach, tailored to your level. In between, a private English-speaking guide and air-conditioned coach take the small group to the lantern streets of Hoi An, the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills, Marble Mountain and the imperial city of Hue.

Evenings are dinners at local restaurants, sunset on My Khe Beach or a herbal foot massage for tired legs, and the final morning is the mini tournament with prizes. Flights aren't included, but we can help arrange them and the transfers so you simply land and join the group.

Friday 2 to Friday 9 April 2027 — eight days and seven nights. Plan to arrive in Da Nang on Friday 2 April in time for the welcome dinner, and to fly out on the afternoon or evening of Friday 9 April after the final session and mini tournament.

It's longer, further away and a lot more of a holiday. Instead of three days at one resort, you get eight days and seven nights in central Vietnam with five four-hour coaching sessions spread across the week, two full sightseeing days with no pickleball at all, and a private guide and coach for every trip out. Think of it as Pickleball Camp on tour.

We welcome all levels except perfect beginners. You just need to know the rules and have played a little bit of pickleball beforehand to enjoy this trip. Sessions are tailored to your current skill level after an initial assessment in the first session.

No — international flights are not included in the price, so you can use points, fly from any city or extend your trip either side. We can help you arrange flights and the connecting transfers so you land in Da Nang and join the group. Plan to arrive on Friday 2 April and to fly out on the afternoon or evening of Friday 9 April, after the final session.

Australian passport holders currently need a visa for Vietnam. The e-visa is applied for online before you travel and is not included in the price. We'll send visa guidance with your booking info sheet, and your passport should have at least six months' validity from your travel date.

You stay seven nights at the five-star Furama Resort Da Nang in a Superior room — 40 sqm plus an 11 sqm balcony, with a king or twin beds, a walk-in closet and a marble bathroom. Garden Superior rooms look over the gardens and are $4,790 pp twin share or $5,870 for a single room. Lagoon Superior rooms face the lagoon pool and add a private living area, at $4,970 pp twin share or $6,070 for a single room.

You secure your place with a $1,000 deposit online. Once we receive it, we'll email you within 24 hours with a booking info sheet confirming your room choice and all the details. The rest is paid in three instalments, invoiced by email: a second $1,000 deposit due 2 December 2026, a third $1,000 deposit due 2 January 2027, and the balance due 2 February 2027. In the event you need to cancel, all payments, once made, are non-refundable unless we can refill your place.

Breakfast at the resort every morning, lunch on all six full days, and dinner every night from the welcome dinner on Day 1 through Day 7 — that's 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 7 dinners. Lunch on the departure day and drinks are at your own expense.

International flights, your visa, travel insurance (not included, but highly recommended), optional spa and wellness activities, the optional Hoi An Memories show (about US$35), tips for the guide and driver (about US$2 per person per day), personal spending, and pickleball equipment — bring your own paddle.

Your own paddle — unlike our Australian camps, a paddle isn't included on this trip. Also comfortable court shoes with non-marking soles, light athletic clothing for a warm climate, sunscreen, a hat, a water bottle, and comfortable walking shoes for the sightseeing days.

Coaching runs on the Furama Resort's seven outdoor courts, and there is a sheltered pickleball club nearby that can be used as a wet-weather option, so a shower doesn't cost you a session.

Absolutely. Many attendees come solo and leave with new friends and doubles partners, and on a trip like this the group is together every day. If you'd like to share a twin room with another solo traveller to get the twin-share price, tell us when you book and we'll do our best to pair you up.

No. Travel insurance is not included, but it is highly recommended — take out a comprehensive policy that covers medical treatment overseas and trip cancellation as soon as you book, because payments for the tour are non-refundable unless we can refill your place.
